ABILITY AT COURSE END: Basic sailing skills including rigging/de-rigging and sailing to a set course. Basic weather and tide awareness.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The RYA Level 1, Start Sailing course offers a great introduction to the sport of sailing. It covers all you need to know to get afloat under supervision of an instructor.
This is a practical course aimed at teaching you to sail in all directions and encourage an awareness of launching and recovering under the supervision on an instructor. We use Picos as an easy to handle vessel in the safe harbour of Teignmouth.
